Auf Reisen auf die Insel (Teil 1)- Travelling to the island (part1)

Endlich ist der Urlaub da!!! Wir verreisen.
Eventually our holidays have come. We are travelling.

Die Maschine steht bereit. Wohin die Reise geht....???
The airplane is ready. Where does the travel go...??

...Natch, to London! For a week we will experience this awesome city.

Immer wieder schön- über den Wolken.
Every time lovely- above the clouds.

Arrived at Baker Street. This street became famous by Sherlock Holmes who lived according to the stories at the fictive address Baker Street 221b.

A first impression: Everything is very British- the nice cabs as if from an ancient detective film, all are driving on the left side, and you have to be so carefully if you want to pass the street.

Noch einmal - ein Taxi von der Seite.
Once again- a cab from the side.

And here they are already, the famous Red London Double-decker Busses, until now only known from the English lessons at school. Didn't Harry Potter have a quite crazy tour with such a bus?

I love this beautiful old telephone boxes. But this time there is no lift in it. Didn't Harry Potter go down to the Ministry of Magic directly from such a telephone box? I'm just only a muggle.

We go to the river Thames, see Victoria Tower and are in the first park- one of sooooooo many.

Besides Victoria Tower you can buy elephants. The benefit is used to protect the real elephants.

Parlamentsgebäude mit Protestcamp davor
Houses of Parliament with protest camp in front

Vor dem Parlamentsgebäude wird aufgepasst.
In front of the Houses of Parliament there is payed attention.

From far away you can see Big Ben. Big Ben is actually the big bell in this beautiful tower.

Big Bens schöne Uhr noch mal in groß.
Big Bens fine clock again bigger

Dann startet unsere Themsefahrt.
Then our Thames Cruise is starting.

Vorbei geht es an der Tower Bridge...
We go along Tower Bridge...

...

...bis nach Greenwich.
...until Greenwich.

Wir sind nun am Nullmeridian,...
We are now at the zero meridian,...

...and are standing one leg eastern and one leg western longitude.

In Green Park we end this beautiful day...

...and enjoy this nice park until darkness.

Im Küchengarten- In the kitchen garden

For a short time I'm the owner of a sprout bowl, bought low priced at the Albrecht brothers- and intended for children.

Now here are my first selfgrown sprouts. Right back is cress, left back are chickpeas, in front is broccoli. Just right for a fine spring salad

Im Zimmergarten- In the Indoor Garden

Der Ritterstern (Hippeastrum) blüht.
The amaryllis (Hippeastrum) is in flower.

My radish are there. On april 21 they look out of the ground still a little shy...

... after a week they are grown conciderable.

The black currant is preparing for a new season too.

Sonnenschein und Fundstück -Sunshine and Find

The warm rays of sunlight today give a foretaste of summer, sand and beach. If there is no beach to see far and wide I get it home to me with the find of today.

Hier ist ein altes Lied von Chris Rea: On the beach.
Here is an old song of Chris Rea: On the beach.

Between the eyes of love I call your name
Behind the guarded walls I used to go
Upon a summer wind there's a certain melody
Takes me back to the place that I know
Down on the beach

The secrets of the summer I will keep
The sands of time will blow a mystery
No-one but you and I
Underneath that moonlit sky
Take me back to the place that I know
On the beach

Forever in my dreams my heart will be
Hanging on to this sweet memory
A day of strange desire
And a night that burned like fire
Take me back to the place that I know
On the beach

Selbstliebe -When I Started Loving Myself

“REIFE”.

Als ich mich wirklich
selbst zu lieben begann,
habe ich verstanden,
dass ich immer und bei jeder Gelegenheit,
zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort bin
und dass alles, was geschieht, richtig ist
- von da konnte ich ruhig sein.
Heute weiß ich, das nennt sich
“SELBSTACHTUNG”.

Als ich mich wirklich
selbst zu lieben begann,
habe ich aufgehört,
mich meiner freien Zeit zu berauben
und ich habe aufgehört,
weiter grandiose Projekte
für die Zukunft zu entwerfen.
Heute mache ich nur das,
was mir Spaß und Freude bereitet,
was ich liebe und was mein Herz
zum Lachen bringt, auf meine eigene
Art und Weise und in meinem Tempo.
Heute weiß ich, das nennt man
“EHRLICHKEIT”.

Als ich mich wirklich
selbst zu lieben begann,
habe ich mich von allem befreit
was nicht gesund für mich war,
von Speisen, Menschen, Dingen,
Situationen und von allem, das mich immer
wieder hinunterzog, weg von mir selbst.
Anfangs nannte ich das
“GESUNDEN EGOISMUS”,

“VOLLKOMMENHEIT”.

Als ich mich wirklich
selbst zu lieben begann,
da erkannte ich,
dass mich mein Denken
armselig und krank machen kann,
als ich jedoch meine Herzenskräfte anforderte,
bekam der Verstand einen wichtigen Partner,
diese Verbindung nenne ich heute
“"HERZENSWEISHEIT”.

Wir brauchen uns nicht weiter
vor Auseinandersetzungen,
Konflikten und Problemen
mit uns selbst und anderen fürchten,
denn sogar Sterne knallen
manchmal aufeinander
und es entstehen neue Welten.
Heute weiß ich,
DAS IST das Leben!

Diese Zeilen schrieb Charlie Chaplin an seinem 70. Geburtstag (am 16. April 1959)

When I Started Loving Myself – Charlie Chaplin

When I started loving myself

I’ve understood that I’m always and at any given opportunity

in the right place at the right time.

And I’ve understood that all that happens is right –

from then on I could be calm.

Today I know: It’s called TRUST.

When I started to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody

When I try to force my desires on this person,

even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it,

and even though this person was me.

Today I know: It’s called “RESPECT”.

When I started loving myself

I could recognize that emotional pain and grief

are just warnings for me to not live against my own truth.

Today I know: It’s called AUTHENTICALLY BEING.

When I started loving myself

I have stopped longing for another life

and could see that everything around me was a request to grow.

Today I know: It’s called MATURITY.

When I started loving myself

I’ve stopped depriving myself of my free time

and I’ve stopped sketching further magnificent projects for the future.

Today I only do what’s fun and joy for me,

what I love and what makes my heart laugh,

in my own way and in my tempo.

Today I know: it’s called HONESTY.

When I started loving myself

I’ve escaped from all what wasn’t healthy for me,

from dishes, people, things, situations

and from everyhting pulling me down and away from myself.

In the beginning I called it the “healthy egoism”,

but today I know: it’s called SELF-LOVE.

When I started loving myself

I’ve stopped wanting to be always right

thus I’ve been less wrong.

Today I’ve recognized: it’s called HUMBLENESS.

When I started loving myself

I’ve refused to live further in the past

and to worry about my future.

Now I live only at this moment where EVERYTHING takes place,

like this I live every day and I call it CONSCIOUSNESS.

When I started loving myself

I recognized, that my thinking

can make me miserable and sick.

When I though requested for my heart forces,

my mind got an important partner.

I call this connection today HEART WISDOM.

We do not need to fear further discussions,

conflicts and problems with ourselves and others

since even stars sometimes bang on each other

and create new worlds.

Today I know: THIS IS THIS LIFE!
